Connecting with people from all over the world who feel the products you design and create part of their values, their culture. Jackson Glasgow is one of those persons. Im lucky enough to receive emails from people I havent even met, and probably will never meet asking for advice, proposing ideas, asking for reviews etc…
People get really surprised I actually answer most of those mails and messages. Well, this video sums it all up… remember when you were riding with your friends and you met new people along the way… and you all became friends? There is no space for egos and attitudes… its all about those days…

Think about doing things by hand.

Sometimes starting a brand sounds like a crazy thing to do. Sounds like a weird thing to do. Even as a risk.

OUTLIER created a brand from an idea, and, just like me, that should be enough to get things going. The rest, just hard work, some money and a lot of passion. Sounds easy. Its not. Sounds “Luck” got on the way? No. Luck doesnt exist.

Kudos to OUTLIER. Really.

Made me think at how much I have hated love in the last months. Love is a double edged sword. How it can turn you into a different person, how it can turn you into an amazing person. The options are there.

Enjoy the weekend. Enjoy those moments if there is somebody out there that loves you. Its a hard thing to get, love. True love.

Somebody once told me you need to “accept” anything somebody you love does in order to achieve real love. Bullshit. True love is loving somebody for what they are, not for what they do.

If you love somebody, tell him/her. Achieve liberation. Achieve happiness.
Meanwhile, Im looking at the Manhattan sky.

I just can´t believe two vids the same week with people doing music and wearing SKULLS. Completely organic, no payments, no contracts, no bullshit. That´s something I really appreciate and makes all this make sense.

The love, support and appreciation for a product goes along with someone who is creating and incorporates it for just the plain love it.

In these cases I write about, have happened to be hats I did, which to me, is priceless.

Im completely down with this kid, Willy McFly from the “Big bang Crew” of Paris. One of our accounts, SNAPCAp from Paris, sent me a video without much explanation. When I watched it I saw a bunch of french teens screaming to their lungs at a party, vomiting, rapping, making out and having fun.
Well, its completely raw, real and the guy is rocking one of the “Pink Leopard” hats from the last collection so what else can we say? Not much.
Yes, its french, but ey, give the kid some credit, he raps amazingly good and his crew has style (Have you seen the wearable-Gizmo in the clip?).
Im not used to people wearing SKULLS on their videos so I get pretty excited easily, but I loved the clip and wanted to share it with all of you…

Art is an impprtant subject. At least it should be. An afternoon visit to the Brooklyn Museum of art to see the Keith Haring expo took me to the other floors of the museum to see a lot more than what I was expecting.
